Legal work, viewed through systems.
I am a Berlin-based legal professional and law student with experience across in-house legal teams, international law firms, privacy operations and legal technology.
My work has increasingly centred on a recurring type of problem: important legal information exists, but the surrounding process is fragmented, repetitive or difficult to scale.
I currently work across contract management, document governance and data protection. My experience includes building structured contract-management processes, improving legal-system workflows, coordinating with software providers, supporting privacy operations and working with large legal datasets.
Earlier roles exposed me to high-volume litigation support, legal-tech and justice-digitalisation projects, structured contract analysis and AML/KYC research.
Why legal engineering
I am especially interested in the layer between doctrine and implementation: how requirements become data structures, how policies become workflows, how legal teams interact with software and where automation can remove repetitive work without removing necessary human judgement.
What I am building toward
I am interested in roles spanning Legal Engineering, Legal Operations, Legal Technology, Privacy Operations, Contract Lifecycle Management and AI Governance, particularly where legal expertise needs to be translated into systems that people can actually use.
